The main advantage of a 12-seater minibus is that most can be driven on a standard car licence, so D1 entitlement is not required. They are also slightly smaller than their 17-seat counterparts and so less daunting to drive for less confident drivers, as well as being smaller, so easier to reverse and manoeuver.
